Aya Annamukhamedova BSc Hons

MPhil student

Aya graduated in 2026 with honours from the Department of Biochemistry at Lomonosov Moscow State University in Russia. During her degree, she completed extended research projects in Genetic Engineering, Protein Biochemistry, Enzymology and Immunochemistry at her department. Aya investigated the cross-reactivity of serum autoantibody repertoire in people with multiple sclerosis for her bachelor’s thesis and received the highest mark at her viva.

In October 2026, she started an MPhil in Infection Biology and Molecular Immunology at the University of Cambridge, funded by a Cambridge Trust.
